Vineland police are issuing another call for the public’s help in finding a local woman missing since September 2012.

City police now say that Flavia Bautista has a Facebook account that is regularly updated, but “constant attempts to locate and speak” with her were unsuccessful.

“She will not speak with police,” city authorities said.

Bautista, who was 19 when she was first reported missing from the 500 block of South West Boulevard, may be in the company of her boyfriend, Francisco Mayoral-Bautista, police said. Police said in October 2012 that they believe Bautista was being held against her will by Mayoral-Bautista. The two are not related.

Also in October 2012, police said an investigation revealed that the couple’s relationship was “very abusive.” Bautisita may not seek help “for fear of retaliation” from the 25-year-old Mayoral Bautista, they said.

City police said they went to the South West Boulevard home, where Bautista lived with other people, at about 9:30 p.m. Sept. 23 for what they termed a domestic dispute between Bautista and Mayoral-Bautista. Drops of blood were found inside the home from the living room area to the back door of the house, authorities said, adding that they do not know if the blood belonged to Bautista or Mayoral-Bautista.

Anyone with information about Bautista or Mayoral-Bautista can contact Detective Luis Rodriguez at 856-691-4111, ext. 4653, or 856-207-9644. Information can also be provided through TIP411.com.

Crime Stoppers is offering a $1,000 reward for information leading to the couple’s whereabouts. Crime Stoppers can be reached at 856-691-2345.
